The Get-Settings Script in KAPA is a script that will return various information of a KAPA MPI installation which is useful in identifying and resolving various issues regarding the installation by HELINTEC.
This script is embedded within the KAPA Application itself and can be run by anyone.
Instructions:
1) On the KAPA server, go to : Start -> All Programs -> KapaMPIApplication -> KapaMPISetup and click to open/run it
2) KAPA MPI Setup will open. ( See image below)
3) Click and select the " Database Operations" option and then click "next"
4) On the next screen, do not change the Database Name field ( Should be your Company's DB Name)
Click on the second drop down menu ( DB Operation ) and select the option
" GetSettingsSitesImportExportLog".
5) Now that the " GetSettingsSitesImportExportLog" is selected, click on " Perform"
6) Click the " Perform Script" button and the process will begin.
7) A few seconds later, the process will be complete and the results screen will appear. Click on the "Save Results" button, in order to save the output to a txt file that will be sent to the office.
8) A window will appear where you will browse and select the location at which you wish the file to be saved . Select the location and click the "Save" button.
The file will be saved at the specified location. You can attach it to an e-mail message and send it to the office.
