To add new KAPA clients to an existing KAPA installation (Office or Vessel), you first need to declare these new clients ( computers) in the KAPA server's client list.
To do this, on the KAPA Server, go to : Start => Programs => KapaMPI Apllication => KapaMPI Setup
Double click on "KapaMPISetup" to open it. (See example below)
When KapaMPISetup opens, the "Add KapaMPI client(s)" option is already selected. Just click on "Next". (See example image below)
On the next screen, a list of all available clients in the same computer network as the server (domain or workgroup) will be shown.
Select the KAPA clients you wish to add by selecting the checkbox on the left side of their names and then click on next. (See example below)
On the next screen, click on "Start" to begin the adding process. The process will begin and it will take just a few seconds to complete. (See example below)
When finished, Just click on "Exit" and then on "Yes" to close KapaMPISetup and proceed with your work. (See example below)
Installation on the Clients / Client Synchronization
Go to any client pc and go to Start/Run and write in the dialog box which opens :
\\server name\kvf\kapampi.lnk (where server name = the name of your KAPA server).
Press Enter and the client setup will begin automatically without anything else required by the user.
When it is completed, the KAPAMPI login screen will open automatically.
Go ahead and Log in to KAPA normally.
