This is a quick guide, providing a first check of the “DCS Voyage Report” of the Reports menu of Fleet Manager.
Before exporting the report, users are advised to check the “DCS Periods” tab (located with the main tabs, as Daily Monitoring, Reported Data etc.) of Fleet Manager, in order to spot any “invalid period” and of course the “Error report” (located on the Reports’ dropdown menu), that provides details on any daily reports’ errors.
The “DCS Voyage Report” is exported in excel format and consists of three sheets, shown in three individual screenshots below. On this quick check, you shall compare the data displayed on these three sheets.
The first sheet, shown below, presents the vessel’s IMO Number and other “standarized data”. “Start date” and “end date” should be checked to be 01/01 and 31/12 of current year, unless vessel was under change of flag or was not under your management from the beginning of the year.
The values of FOC HFO, FOC MDO-MGO, HOURS UNDERWAY and DISTANCE, should be checked to agree with the corresponding values on the third excel sheet.

The second excel sheet, named “BDN Summaries”, consists of the vessel’s bunkerings. The “annual fuel consumption”, shown in the last row, should be in line with the total shown in the first excel sheet and in the third one. Also please note that the starting and ending ROB (which are either entered by user using the “start ROB” of the “Admin” menu of Fleet Manager or, if not entered by user, calculated by software) are shown in the corresponding lines of this second sheet, for each fuel type.

The third excel sheet of the DCS Voyage Report, is named “Collected Data Summaries” and presents the vessel’s DCS voyages and the consumption for each fuel type. Consumptions, Hours Underway, Distance Travelled, are not to be negative.
Also, the Annual Total Value for each column should be in line with the corresponding value depicted in the first and second excel sheet.
